I searched this forum, there were 2 older posts back in 2006, but not solutions.

I am using the latest stable version of autogk. The video file is transcoded by VLC from my SA8300HD (video stb from cable company) via firewire. I can play the file using VLC or WMV. I changed the name of the file with .ts or .mpg and AutoGK works but at end end it gives the AVIOutput, cannot access file error. I can play the xvid file but there is no sound. Please help. BTW, I am using Vista. TIA.

I was using my new Sony Vaio laptop, Vista Business, with all kinds of crazy programs running. I copied the vlc converted video file over to my desktop running xp, and autoGK runs with no problem at all. So, thanks for everything.

Now I have to tackle this crazy software on my vaio laptop.
