Anyone know anything about em ? I would assume Gigabyte would make a decent product but it is pretty cheap, $36AUS, thou there are 550watt no name brands for $27 as well.

Also this product does not appear on the Gigabyte website so I think maybe the product details below may have been taken from the one a level up, the 460watt.

Product Description:
# Note for 220V countries only, product not to be used in 110V countries such as Taiwan, U.S.A, Japan and so on
# Complies to INTEL +12V 2.3 regulations
# 2-rail, 12V+ design, with Active PFC circuitry capable of supplying higher power output
# Over-voltage, over-current, under-voltage and short – circuit protection
# 12cm cooling fan, low noise silent design with Auto fan speed control
# Environment friendly, Complying with RoHS & WEEE regulations

It will be running 1 HD, 1 DVD Burner and mobo with onboard video (Geforce 7010).

Here is a pretty important note:
"Note for 220V countries only, product not to be used in 110V countries such as Taiwan, U.S.A, Japan and so on"

Its also important to note that gigabyte doesnt manufacture the PSU, it most likely outsources it.

That PSU will be fine to run that sort of setup.....

If you are an australian shopper look at www.pccasegear.com, they only sell quality product's do some research on their site and you should be able to find something in your price range, then google/ebay for the cheapest price.

Pick a good product then look for the cheapest price, don't go off the cheapest prices!

Australia uses 240V 50hz, which is compatible with the European 220V. It does sound pretty cheap, but keep in mind the efficiency rating of the PSU and the quality. A true good quality PSU will last significantly longer than a cheap one, but also provide more stable power for the same stated output. A cheap 550W PSU may provide less power after startup than a 400W! Also if the hard drive turns off and back on with power saving (for example), a good PSU will keep the power stable, a cheap one may drop off the voltage. The efficiency rating is the true power capability of the PSU, anything above 80 percent is really good (there's an industry thing called '80 plus') efficiency wise, even some good quality ones only make the high 70's.

If the gigabyte one is good, then 360W should be enough to power what you need, quality wise I'm unsure... It may not be on the website and the price could be cheap because it could be an old model?
