I've successfully gotten two large movies from one DVD to 2 DVDrs and my girlfriend came up with an idea, I don't know if it would work but figured it couldn't hurt to ask-
The first half of the movie seems to end abruptly since it's just at a chapter change - at the end of the first DVD for Pearl Harbor there’s an actual VOB containing an “Intermission” screen with background music that plays for about five minutes and repeats. If I extracted just this part and corrected it with IFOEdit, is there any way to add it to the end of the first DVDr for movies that have to be broken up? I could send the file to someone if they want to experiment with it – I really don’t know where to begin but it seems like it could be a good idea, much better than a movie just ending midstream.
