More than 2 AC3 frames per AVI chunk still a bad idea?

Are there still potential software/hardware issues with putting more than 2 AC3 frames in an AVI chunk?

Yes. Same hardware as before would have the same problem.

Although I've moved away from AVI lately, so perhaps newer hardware is fine.
