Please, could you tell me if I can upgrade the latest release od Xvid 1.1.3 27-04-2008 (koepi) over the initial release Xvid 1.1.3 28.06.2007 (koepi too) ? Or Should I uninstall the previous version?

you should always uninstall the previous version.
if you feel lucky try an upgrade.
