Hi,
I used to have an ATI Theater 550pro based card, and while it was great quality, I no longer have a PC with the space inside to fit it!
Right now, I'm looking for a USB device which has good audio and video quality, preferably with hardware encoding. I've looked at the Win TV PVR USB, but I found it difficult to find any example images or videos of what the quality is like.
I'm also interested in the possibility of using a device with hardware capturing that can stream out the hardware encoded MPEG video over the net somehow, just to ease CPU load. Is this possible or would I have to just use the VFW/WDM input and encode that for the stream in software?
A device that supported PAL 60 would be cool too though it seems bt8x8 cards (using btwincap drivers) are the only cards that support this.
