American Pie 2 NSTC

I'm trying to rip American Pie 2 to DVDR and when i put the vobs through rempeg the m2v file comes out with different coloured speckles all over it. Has anyone any ideas or has anyone ripped this already with no problems

err my suggestion is use a better scale rate/bitrate...that should solve your problem...other than that i have no idea dude

I've tried different bitrate's in rempeg but it makes no difference. I want to try cce but i not to sure how use it.

How about making just a movie only version and strip out the all of the sound tracks except the DD5.1 (AC3) one. Will that make it fit on one disc? I havn't looked at the disc structure but I would think that this would make it small enough and save you some time.

yea, it really sounds like macrovision is still active :D

Have you tried to demux the video stream to m2v file and then try to ReMPEG that one?

I have exactly the same problem with A/Pie 2
coloured speccles

I figured out use ifo edit to strip out all but one of the ac3 streams
and the vobs will any be 3.8gig
