MPEG-4/H.264 diagnostic tools?

Does anyone know of a tool that dumps info about an MPEG-4/H.264 stream to a log file? Like how bbInfo works for MPEG-2, but for MPEG-4/H.264. I'm writing an MPEG-4/H.264 transcoder app and I'd like to verify the data coming out of the encoder is valid.

not sure what bbInfo does, but you may try a reference decoder (also called JM software) with TRACE enabled - it may output all info you ever need.
there is also h.264 analyzers out there. even free - try h264visa. (I'm actually never tried it, almost everything I know about it is that it's free)

h264visa looks pretty powerful, but it definitely is not free. Asks for registration key on startup, but without key you can test it 30 days...
