Sim City 4 Deluxe Edition

I was trying to make a backup copy of my Sim City 4 Deluxe Edition. Disc 1 copied fine, but when I went to copy Disc 2, it said that it couldn't read it. But yet I can open it in windows explorer and see the files fine. Is there a ocpy protection on disc 2, does it take a special copy software to copy them?
