View Full Version : MEGUI - Can't seperate audio from video

(MEGUI is fully up-to-date).

When I try to use d2v creator to demux the audio files, I get the follow errors:

"No video sequence header found!"

"No data. Check your PIDS."


Any ideas?

d2v creator is for mpeg2 sources (dgmpgdec)

Chances are you have h.264 or vc-1 source. Use mediainfo to check

If it's h.264, use dgavcdec to create a .dga file (read the quick start manual)

You can also separate streams from .m2ts with TsMuxeR

In TsMuxeR the output file is always without an extension, what should the extension be (.ac3, .mp3 etc. etc.??)?

If it's h.264 it will give you a raw stream (.264 extension) and the option to demux PGS, audio tracks, etc... Make sure you hit the "demux" radio tab

You have to disable "hide extension for known file types" in your folder options to "see" it

Ok I used DGIndex and that got the audio file done and then I muxed it with the mkv and now it works, although the given delay for audio was wrong so I edited it slightly and now seems ok.

Is there a way to align the audio perfectly?

The delay given by DGAVCDec is valid only for the video served/demuxed by DGAVCDecode. You can't expect it to be correct if another application demuxes the video.

Oh ok then I'll use that in future, thanks for help.
