I'm sort of new to this stuff and had little knowledge of how to convert DVD (Anime) to MKV where each episode is its single MKV file. I tried using AutoMKV but all it does is encoded the whole DVD into a single file rather than each separate episodes. I would greatly appreciate if the experts here could point me at the right direction or give me a few tips on how to convert/encode the episodes in the DVD separately. I owned the DVD lawfully and it's not a bootleg copy to just clarify.

Use DVD Decrypter in IFO mode and pre-rip each episode individually.

Or rip the entire disc with dvd decrypter (split by cellid mode) and use dgindex to process one at a time ONLY the vob cells that belong to one episode.

Drag .vobs into dgindex, hit save project.
repeat for next episode.

That will certainly work, but it's much more trouble. In IFO mode, episodes are identified individually by run time.

Or extract the episodes with VobBlanker.

Alright, I'll give it a try. Thanks.
