Hi everyboldy. I would like to know what do you think about these LCD monitors. Both are about the same price and I don't know witch is better for my PC.
Thank you.

I'd say Samsung- unlike Dell, they generally produce their own monitors > that's not say that Dells are bad, but the quality of a Dell monitor will depend on which firm, model and production line's OEM it's using.

If you're from UK then try ebuyer.com (http://www.ebuyer.com/product/142593/show_product_reviews). they're giving 30 quid cashback thingy. Careful about cashback- my mate had to wait a very long time to get his 'cashback' back from Orange.

Regardless, it would be much better if you go to some shops with some hidefs files with fast sequences- and with full of grains, light, very darks. That way you can see which is better. Then you can order online.

By the way, you can always haggle in the shop as well- just ask them and hint them you saw a better offer from a competitor. (In the current world, the retail industry aren't going to do too well. So competition is getting more 'customer friendly'.) But make sure that they don't mess around with the 3 yr warranty! grr I'm going banana!!

Thank you Salehin! You are right. I doubt between this two LCDs because the Dell is S-PVA and the Samsung is Tn panel.
What do you think about that?
Thank you very much.

You're welcome :)

I haven't done any in-depth reading on monitors. So I shouldn't say anything about it. But check out ViewSonic and JVC (& LG) as well.

Also check anandtech.com and it's forum (http://forums.anandtech.com). Their reviews are quite detailed. There is another site (very good for monitor review) but I can't remember it atm (will post when I have it)

Cheers :)
