HCenc .23 crashes

I first tried HCenc .23 with DVDRB 1.27.3 and it crashed. Qenc, HCenc .22 and CCE Basic worked fine. I figured it had something to do with using it with 1.27.3. I recieved 1.28.2 and tried it and HCenc .23 crashed again, all the other encoders worked fine. Strange.

(System: WinXP SP3, AMD 4200 X2, 1GB ram)

Not too important because I use CCE Basic mostly, but I like trying the others ones to compare quality and speed.

I also get ( Failed to find and run encoder) with HCenc

Did you use the installer? Is HC appropriately named as HCBatch.exe?

Try removing DVD-RB and AVISYNTH. Then install DVD-RB from the installation package and it will reinstall AVISYNTH.

Yes I used the installer
I double clicked on HCbatch and it does'nt
open.Windows tells me wrong path.
It just like it's locked.
What I did, I deleted HCbatch, then I downloaded HC from Bitburners extracted to HC folder set the path again ,
and now it's working.

I uninstalled DVD-RB and AVISYNTH and installed back.
now everything works fine. I don't know what happened the first
time. I always install the latest version over the previous.

This time I used the zip updates and it was fine. TBH, I had already included HC23 when it was released.

Thank youDVD-RB won't install AVISYNTH unless it is not currently installed. That's to prevent those who have chosen to use newer versions from getting overwritten.
