Hello folks,

I've got several problems concerning the resolution of my output file.

At first I have to say, I read the sticky but didn't found a solution for my problem.
When I do an encoding, AGK produces files with a resolution of 720x544 pixels. Well, my input Video is PAL 720x576 and I would like to have 576 in height as well in my output file.

Why isn't there a feature in AGK that lets me setting that ?

I found out that AGK crops automatically, so that might be the problem. I turned that off in der Hidden Options, but after that the video is only 512x384 which is unacceptable.

So could you please help me an give me a hint how to get that solved ?

Thanks in forward.

The A is for Auto. AutoGK is doing exactly what it's supposed to, which is to output a file as close to the correct aspect ratio as possible. There is a checkbox for original AR in the hidden options since that's what you want, and definitely turn off all cropping and set a specified width of 720 under Advanced Options.

OK. I've done, what you said but it's the same. Again I have 544 px in height. What am I doing wrong ? :(

You did not check "Override input AR" and select "Original" as I posted before.

I should add that unless you're planning to use the AR signaling that your file will playback at an incorrect AR.

OK. I did the changes in the settings, but it doesn't make any difference unfortunately:

You checked ".detect43," which overrode your .aspect choice. 720 x 480 is not 4:3 - AutoGK was already outputting that before. Sorry I didn't notice that before, but it wasn't within your area of attention.
