View Full Version : 64-bit mencoder (or ffmpeg) that supports multiple threads?

Are there any precompiled (cross compiled?) Win-64 binaries for mencoder or ffmpeg? I can't seem to find any and mingw32 seems to be, well, only 32-bit.

I just would like to have a speedy way to losslessly render huffyuv videos.

Thanks.

I don't think multithreading of HuffYUV is currently in trunk.

Well crap. There goes that idea.

There any other decent multithreaded lossless codecs?

Oh crap, x264 DOES have a lossless mode doesn't it? Hurr. Forgot about that.

Thanks.

Thanks.Indeed, one which may be improved a decent bit by an upcoming patch too ;)

Wow, really? I mean, I'm already getting 4.25 fps currently (and that is with IVTC, antialiasing, and mvdegrain3 running).

I_PCM block mode support, so in the case any particular macroblock would end up as more than 384 bytes, its stored uncompressed instead.
