Is there anyway to use subtitle subpictures while using Nvidia Pure video hardware acceleration? Up until now i have only been able to view subtitle subpics with hardware acceleration disabled(regardless of what software player I use). I use VMR 9 renderless /w 3d surfaces and VMR 9 mixer mode under Windows Vista Home Premium.:thanks:

Demux VC1 (or h264/mpeg2) from a HD DVD (or BD) via TSMuxer
Demux ac3 directly with eac3to from a HD DVD (or BD)
Demux sup with evodemux(for HD DVD) or with TSMuxer(for BD)

Convert sup into srt with SupRead.

When i remux video and ac3 into TS with TS muxer and renamed srt created with supread with the same name of muxed ts and put them in the same folder, i can easily watch subtitle with MPC-HC in DXVA mode. (i use Arcsoft video decoder as external filter)
And of course you must use EVR Custom in Vista. (Xp users must select VMR9 Renderless)

BTW: If you will use arcsoft decoder, you have to make "deinterlace=force" everytime with MPC-HC. Just selecting "apply" doesn't work in MPC-HC but it works with graphedit.(edit: OK it's changed with the new version; just one adjustment is enough anymore)

backstage graph while MPC-HC is running:

@XRyche

1) What is the format of the video?

2) Did you mux the subtitles with the video or did you create a separate file with the same name as the video?
