I just now finished encoding a DVD9 to H264/AVC/Vorbis.MP4.
VLC is not even opening the file.
MPC opens but not able to take screenshots.
Suggest me a player for taking screenshots.

You can always press the "Print" button to take a screenshot in Windows, as long as you don't use the Overlay renderer ;)
Nevertheless if you use MPlayer with SMPlayer front-end (see dl link in my sig), you can use the "Screenshot" button ...

If you use the overlay renderer, you wont be able to take screenshots.
switch renderer in the options (MPC) to Haali renderer or VMRx (where x = 7 or 9) then use the make screenshot function (MPC).

I changed it to VMR9 and also Haali renderer. It shows "Get Current image failed".

Did you reopen the video after changing them? Because if not, you didn't actually change them.
How did you manage to get vorbis in MP4 exactly?

Not in MPlayer/SMPlayer, because the screenshot filter is located before the renderer ;)
