DVD-RB quits when "Encode" starts in Vista

I can't get DVD-RB to encode started. It finished the "prepare" stage and shut down the program in one click mode. I then try to do it manually, I did the Prepare stage, then when it's done, I click on "Encode" button, that's when DVD-RB just closes. I tried this with CCE as the encoder and QuEN as well as Procoder. Anyone know why? I ran DVD-RB under administrator rights. I also put DVD-RB in XP SP2 compatibility mode.

This is not needed, also try installing DVD-RB and all other apps to with it into another directory, other than the normal program files folder..

I have Vista ultimate with no problems at all.

Do you have a registered version ?

As Susana indicated... the pirated version doesn't work, and aborts exactly as you have indicated.
