I have many family guy DVDs I would like to encode. I'm using AutoMKV to encode them and I would like some suggestions for settings on AutoMKV to produce the highest quality file.
My requirements are:
19-20 minutes per episode
640x480
75MB total file size
x264
128Kbps AAC audio and rest for video
Family guy is a show where the video is filled with simple colors. There are many parts of the image that are only 1 color. The video doesn't move much, so there is a lot of reference frames. Sometimes there could be 10-20 seconds where the video has zero or very little changes (lips, eyeball rolling, small stuff). 5-10 seconds is very common. What is a good setting for this kind of video?
My settings are:
x264 insane quality profile
Filters:Remove Grain 5
HQ deinterlace
HQ first pass
Three passes
AQ strength: 5
AQ sensitiviy:13
Script: Light All Around Denoise
Should I use MVDenoise and/or MVDegrain? What kind of scrupt should I use?
If I were to encode action movies like Transformers, The Matrix, Lord of the Rings, etc. What kind of settings should I use?
