Finding interlanced frames

I have this anime source that has 99.33% film in the d2v file. But the rest of 0.67% are purely interlanced. 4 purely interlanced frames are at the begining of the movie. How can i find out with frames are interlanced for ading istart and iend at the animeivtc, or is this required?
