HI!
What settings will be best?
Lets say i want a movie on 1cd with resolution 576x304.I do a compress test with Bilinear resize and get 60%/first pass size and then a compress test with soft bicubic and a temp.Smoother (2.1) before resize and get 60%/first pass size too.What will give me the best picturequality?

And are all rippers out there going for 2cd now?I think its hard to decide:)
Sometimes it feels wrong to go for 2cds if the movie is 100min the cdr is not expensive but it is a feeling:p

thanks

I prefer bicubic instead of bilinear because bilinear is much too blury. A 1 cd rip for movies with a length of 120 min. is also possible with an acceptable movie quality. But if you want some special "features" like AC3 sound or multilanguage you have to go for 2 cd rips.

HI!

Yes i know Bilinear is blurry but if use Temp.Smoother(2.1) in Soft bicubic this will be little blurry too and the encodinspeed will decrease so idont know whats best.

I have two more question,when to use F.Size.Correction,Motion Correction and Luma Correction in GKnots statsfile editor i always leave them default when to mess around with this settings?

Is there a another word for Luma what this is(cant find the word in my lexicon:) )i know it is something with brightness.

thanks

Lumination = Brightness
