Megui does not work - dont open any avs

hi,

i have a problem since the last updates, when i try to load an avs, the following error appears:

megui dont open any avs file, i failed to load any mpg2 ts with it. when i close megui, the following error appears:

whats wrong there?

now i updated the megui to the latest alpha/beta or whatever versions and he opens all avs scripts, but now all my profiles are gone, megui deleted all of it. when i copy a backup in the new profile dirs my own profile appears, but when i close megui will delete it. only the scratchboard profile is active, whats that for crap?

you mean the avs profiles? try with using file/import

BadImageFormatException generally means a process is trying to load a dll that is from a different architecture, e.g. 64-bit program trying to load 32-bit dll or vice versa. Did someone forgot to set the build flag that tells MeGUI to run as 32-bit managed code only?

yes, coz megui 0.2 target platform is "Any CPU" while 0.3 has different platform defined in the project.
since 0.3 is now stable and 0.2 will be automatically upgraded to 0.3, there's no need for new 0.2 builds...
0.2 will be also removed from the SVN shortly...

it doesnt work properly sharktooth, when i import the profile ok, after next restart the all profiles are deleted. the same will happen when i import the profiles from the auto update, after i imported all i can use it only for the time megui is open, after restart they all are gone.

yeah, uac is deactivated completly.

try doing a clean reinstall (save your stuff first)

worked. the error will happen when i try to copy an old .xml profile to the new profile dir, megui will delete the complete on exit when this old one is in that directory.

that's due to the fact profiles made with really old versions of megui are no longer supported.
using those profiles will cause strange behaviours.
