I would like to be able to do this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YuNIrzLdWDM
VirtualDub
FFDShow (Make sure decoder for H264 is turned on)
MKVtoolnix w/ MKV Extract
MediaInfo (for determining framerate)
AviSynth (for frame serving)
AVC2AVI (for putting H264 into AVI container)
Xvid Codec
TextSub (comes with VobSub)
I have everything except for AVC2AVI with GUI (which i can't find). My plan is to extract everything, change the h264 container to avi using avc2avi then put everything together via virtualdubmod.
How do you guys go about doing it then?
A guide is available herE: http://anime.nickistre.net/blog/other/2007/03/03/mkv-h264-codec-avi-xvid-codec-conversion#comment-18020
But the youtube guide goes into the extra step of making a notepad the renaming it as .avs, put in the code on the notepad then putting that into virtualdubmod (as opposed to putting the converted avi container in directly)
edit where can i download avc2avi with gui?
