Hi,

I would love it if the forum had an "algorithms/mathematics" topic. A place where there's little or no discussion of compiling or platforms or applications, discussion which creates a lot of noise around more fundamental topics. Doom9 is one of the only places on the web where people who really know the math and algorithms behind signal processing come together, and I think a separate topic for this would be a great resource for people with questions and well as make fascinating reading for people with an interest in the subject.

Cheers,
A

I'm inclined too agree on this one, a link resource or guide for algorithms & math's related too video is definitely a good idea ... in other words if you don't know its hit & miss trying too figure out things without good starting points.

It's driven by traffic. There is currently insufficient traffic in this area to justify a forum of its own.

Hmmm... I frequently think of interesting math/algorithm questions and topics, but don't post them because they don't fit in any of the topics. I would argue that the lack of a math & algorithms topic preempts traffic, even though doom9 probably has the largest collection of members with applied knowledge and interest in these areas as pertains to signal processing than any other forum on the internet. Seems like such a shame, since the information is so valuable.

You can post in General or Development. If the topic area catches fire, then maybe it will earn its own forum.
