I am currently working on a Project in Adobe Premiere Pro. I have some footage that is stored on a DVD (Filmed with a Sony Camcorder in Europe(PAL)) and want to import these files into my project.
If i just import the .vob files off the disc, Premiere gives me the "File Format not supported" message. I have tried the suggestion, renaming the .vob to .mpeg, and Adobe imports the files but there is no sound!:(
Any ideas on how to solve this problem:confused:

Hi!

Demultiplex the audiostream to a separate file...

There are other ways of editing existing DVD video that don't involve re-encoding. Adobe will require rerendering which reduces quality. DVD Shrink has some edit features and supports ripped DVD files.
