Is there a way for force a specific resolution in autogk?
That is, enter 320x240...If i entrer 320, it makes up something other than 240...can I do this? Don't care if aspect off

You can't force a resolution. You can only force a width. If you want to screw up the aspect ratio use a different application, perhaps the more fully featured Gordian Knot.
There are some things you can do in the Hidden Options, such as crop it the way you want, but nothing specific to what you're asking.

It's one of the main goals of AutoGK not allow you to screw up, it makes the right thing automatically. If your movie has a aspect ratio of 2.4 it would be a bad idea to overcrop or resize to get 1.333, I don't have a iPod or something like that but I would probably overcrop to get 1,6. StaxRip has a option for this:
Auto overcrop width to limit aspect ratio
On small devices like the iPod it's recommend to restrict the aspect ratio to 1,6 and overcrop the width instead.

I want my videos to fill up my 1280X800 screen while looking as nice as possible . . . would forcing a higher width during conversion yield better results than telling WMP or GOM Players to fill the screen with the "auto" produced width (700 or 720?)
