Playback stuttering on DVD player

Hello,

finally I managed to encode a DVD, it was a terribly lengthy process. Still have to work out whuich are the best codecs etc... I'm a newbie...

But my Philips DVD player does stutter with this avi file, as if it plays only every 5th picture...

I have no idea why this happens. Any ideas? It's not a problem of the dvd, the same happened with a CDrom.

Any idea? Playback on PC is nice.

Hi!Any ideas? It's not a problem of the dvd, the same happened with a CDromIf by this you mean that the SAME .AVI exhibits this behavior from both a DVD and CD, I'd ask you if, when you created the DivX-compressed .AVI, you used any special settings such as QPels?

Please load the .AVI into GSpot and post a screen capture back here...
