So I have some .ts files I'm trying to play and I can only manage to get sound when using Media Player Classic and nothing at all with VLC. At first they didn't work at all on Media Player Classic but then I got the elecard codec and managed to get sound but still no video. Can someone please help me out on getting the video to work on these files?

Read the rules, especially #6, please.

Did you rip these .ts files from an HD-DVD or blu-ray? If so, which disks? I've had problems with some but a pretty easy solution to resolvie the issue.

The original post mentions a set of obviously pirated files: "Sweeney.Todd.Blu-ray.REMUX.1080P.VC1.TrueHD.DD51.SILUHD.disk1.ts" Sorry, but rewriting history will not change our rules. Closed, and do not repost.
