Man this is wierd. I have made a 3CD rip of T2 ultimate edition :) (pal, including english AC3 audio and directors comments AC3 audio) over and over again, but I still have this audio synching problem. I didn't have it when I made a 2 CD rip of the film!

When I play the movie in zoom player, if you don't fast forward, it plays fine, in perfect sync.BUT try jumping to another bit of the film, and the audio goes like 1/2 hour out of sync. You see Sarah Connor and her son, and what you hear is "I want your clothes, your boots, and your motorcycle".

It seems to be that the audio is fine for the first four minutes, then leaves a gap for the next 1/2 hour, continuing later in the film.

I cannot understand this, as I have followed guides carefully to demux audio properly from dvd2avi and mux them with gknot. Please help me someone asap!!!

Your error is caused by an odd discrepancy between the first and last VOB files which only affects Dolby Digital 5.1 audio streams.

I had the exact same problem. Now I only have the problem in non-segmented files. My final file, before I split it up into 2 or 3 CD sizes, is async by about 30 minutes on certain movies. See if the async is still there after you segment it. If the async is still there, create two DVD2AVI projects: one for every VOB file but the last, and the second for the last VOB file. encode the two projects separately, and then append them in Nandub.

My logs on the error.
