How to get VIDEOINFOHEADER

Wasn't sure where to post this. I've looked around but can't find the answer.
Does anyone know how to get the VIDEOINFOHEADER and BITMAPINFOHEADER information from an AVI file?

The only way I could see it was when MPC couldn't render some of the pins in the graph.

ok, answered my own question.
For those who are interested, the new open source GraphEdit project can do it.
