Anyone have VP6 for ffmpeg working on linux?

Im trying to figure out how to get vp6 encoding to work on linux.

I see how it works under windows here: http://sh0dan.blogspot.com/2006/09/command-line-flash-8-flv-encoding.html

However I need a linux solution. Can anyone help me out?

Alternative options:
1. Use MEncoder instead of ffmpeg: http://www.mplayerhq.hu/DOCS/HTML/en/menc-feat-video-for-windows.html
2. Run a Windows-based encoding solution (like AviSynth & ffmpeg) with Wine.
3. Buy On2's Flix Engine.
