Portable Media Player

Hi,

I'm searching for a portable media player that is not too expensive (iPod Touch ^^). As the PSP slim has become pretty cheap (160€) I thought about using it as a media player. But the question is if you can use the display to the max with "home made" movies. A year ago it would only allow the full resolution for UMDs.

So do you know a recommendable player and if the PSP can play videos off a memory stick with full resolution?

Thanks for your recommendation but I decided for a PSP.

That way I can play some games, too, and with custom firmwares and stuff it's like a high tech toy :) .

I'm very satisfied with the quality and AVC for low bitrates just looks great.
