View Full Version : Slayers IVTC: Telecide argument does not exist

So I'm trying to IVTC the Slayers DVDs that I have (3 seasons of anime). I've read that inverse telecining anime is a pain, but I never realized how much of a pain it was until I tried it myself :p

I searched the forums and someone mentioned that when they IVTC-ed Slayers, they found that "Telecide(reverse=True)" worked really well for them:

Problem is --- I don't think that Telecide takes a reverse argument anymore  I tried it and it didn't work (error message saying that there is no reverse argument).

Does anyone know of the equivalent way to do this with the new version of Telecide?

AnimeIVTC() helps a lot reducing that pain ;) You could give it a try and, if the results are not good enough, post a sample!

Does anyone know of the equivalent way to do this with the new version of Telecide? There's no equivalent. Look at TFM. I think it allows you to choose the field to match on.

Can you [or someone else] explain what Reverse=True does, or used to do? It'd make it a bit easier for me to figure out what exactly I should be doing.

@TheToof -- I will try out your anime IVTC as well.

reverse (true/false, default false) is used to reverse the sense of Telecide's field matching, i.e., instead of matching on the second field, match on the first field.
