Ok here goes. I have been making VCD's and SVCD's for ever and thought DVD should be a breeze to. However software out there to make a DVD and a menu seem to be lacking. I got ahold of Spruceup v1106 and I like what I have seen. With that said here is my problem.
Anytime I try and export my damn DVD it hangs at 93% of completetion. It does not matter if I am trying to write and .img or burn directly to DVD 93% is the limit. Here are all the specs.
Created AVI with Premiere and then ran the thing thru TMPGenc 2.50.32.120 set at NTSC MPEG-2 Video, 720x480 4:3 CBR 8000 60min/4.7GB for 37 min worth of Video (Sisters Wedding) Audio is set for MPEG-1 Audio Layer II, Stereo, 384kbits. After 2 and 1/2 hours the thing is encoded and I test it, looks fine.
myDVD: Sucks ass. Will not add the video to the DVD just gives me a 6MB DVD and a one frame scree shot.
NeoDVD... lets just say never finishes encodeing and dumps out. Dual 1000MHz and 512MB I don't think so. When it does finish, its so damn pixulated...ohhh menus suck ass.
Spruceup... looks promising if I can get the damn thing to work. I have the export setup correctly I believe.
Output Type: DVD Format
Video Format: NTSC
MPEG Type: MPEG-2
Audio: MPEG
Region: ALL
Total Play Length: 00:37:45:15
Project Size: 2.34GB
Player: 0 byte
Folder Addition: 0 byte
SpruceUp Trial: 0 byte
Disc Write Speed is set to 1X or I just try and make an .img file.
Only theory I Have is that is seems the Audio Directory is empty when I quit out. Does it encode the Video Track first and the Audio last?
Other than that I am outa ideas.
Thanks to anyone that can help.
