Hello,
some time ago, before I reinstalled my PC, I got a avisynth script and encoded it with HCEncoder. Now I still got the same script and source video and the same parameters in HCEnc, but the encoded result is different as it was before: it has less contrast and not as many details as before.
I got the newest ffdshow installed.
What could be the reason for my problem?
Greets.

Hi!
1) Depending upon your definition of "I reinstalled my PC", perhaps you should check your videocard's color settings.
2) Are you using the identical version of HCEncoder?

Hello,
Hi!

I got a comparisation video, that I encoded before. And it looks different (better) than my newer results. So it has nothing to do with the settings of my videocard.
2) Are you using the identical version of HCEncoder?
Yes.

How are you comparing the two videos, exactly?

Wachting them (seperately) and comparing them in VDubMod (doesn't matter which one I open first, the result is the same. :S).

if you upload a few seconds of source, pre-reinst, post-reinst
and settings used,
someone might have a better guess at it.

settings were the same... uploading video is not possible at the moment, but i will try to post screenshots soon.
