Can Handbrake handle multiple Vob files?

I ripped ONLY the main movie VOB files to the VIDEO_TS folder.
There are 3 VOB files.
Handbrake .9.2 lets you select either the folder or a file.
When I try to select the folder, it says there's an error. I assume because I didn't rip all the other files.

When I select file, it only lets me select 1 file.

So, without going back and ripping all the other files is there anyway to get handbrake to work with multiple files?

Dr. Divx can handle multiple files no problem....but for some reason, this particular movie messes up with Dr. Divx. The picture comes out fine, but the sound is absent...even though it clearly says there is an mp3 192 48000hz audio track.

Hi!

Considering that you're having problems with two different programs, perhaps your rip of your DVD is less than perfect - possibly due to the type of copy protection.

What is the Title and Region of your DVD?

The DVD is Lady and the Tramp, region 1 (USA).
Its broken up into 4 vob files.
Handbrake can handle each vob file just fine. But it cannot handle all of them together. There's no way that I know of to have handbrake stitch them together.
I do not want to do a binary b/ copy and stitch the vob files together that way. I have other movies, and it would be a pain to have to binary copy all of the movies together just to get handbrake to encode them for me.

Dr. Divx is failing. It produces a picture, but there is no audio.
I've tried 3 times now with Dr. Divx. Same results.
The vob files themselves seen good, they all play perfectly fine with media player classic.

If your Disney's "Lady and the Tramp" DVD is the latest re-release (not the much earlier original DVD release), it contains the second iteration of "RipGuard" copy protection.

Try initially ripping your DVD with any of the following:

RipIt4Me
DVD95CopyPro
AnyDVD
DVDFabHD Decrypter

I ripped it with DVDFabHD Decrypter.
It is an older one...probably early 2003-5
The vob files ripped fine onto the hard drive. And they play with any normal player. Doesn't that mean the rip went ok?

In order to determine the successful ripping of your DVD, you have to play the entire DVD "package" (.IFOs, .BUPs, .VOBs) AS A DVD - not simply as individual .VOBs. If the .IFOs were not properly ripped/modified it could conceivably lead to virtually any type of problem upon attempting to convert to DivX-compressed .AVI or any other format...

BTW - Is it the "50th Anniversary Edition" (part of label) or the "Limited Edition" (part of label)?

I don't have the DVD anymore....and all I ripped from it were 4 vob files....no other files.
Is there a way to get handbrake to select multiple files...like Dr. Divx?

Find the DVD again and rip the IFOs and BUPs properly, until then we can't offer assistance since you no longer own the DVD.
