Japanese home page menu

When I go to a Japanese site to download movies, the pics show a red x instead of loading. Do I need a codec to view the menu or what? Please explain to a novice at this, my only formal computer training was Fortran, on punch cards!

jeffy, I tried a search on Japanese codecs, but only got a response from 2006. It is dead now. My knowledge of what to ask for prevents me from going farther. If I have missed any other rules, please fill me in, I am new at this. I found your site on a Google search and hope you can help.

Simply said: if you can prove the content you are trying to access is "okay", someone can help you, otherwise not.

Further looking I found "HyperText Transfer Protocol-type unknown" on the properties menu for the site (it has pranks and TV bloopers like on U-Tube) and this also happens on my Domino's Pizza menu. I guess I need to convert these images to HTML. I'm not sure if this will solve the problem or not. The site is not a warez or password site. (questionable? if you think someone falling out the back of an outhouse into the snow when they sit down is questionable, it may be!)
