WMP11 + asx video steam + ffdshow

Hi all,

I am subscribing to a video stream (which is .asx) which requires a drm license but I was wondering if I could use ffdshow to further process the video?

One of the main reasons is that the stream is in a 4:3 aspect ratio and I would like to resize it to 16:9.

WMP will try to use its own DirectShow filters and connect those directly to the renderer; ffdshow won't connect, even if you have Raw video set to all supported.

I only really wanted to stretch the 4:3 drm video stream to 16:9.

Probably, it is impossible to connect drm video stream to ffdshow raw video filter.

You could try MPC as I'm positive it would work.
