Howdy yall, I use MeGUI to encode xvid avi files into iPod avc files.

I use MeGui to create a script from the avi and tell it to resize to 320x240.

I use the AVC iPod profile (not 5.5), except i make one change, instead of two pass, I have it set to "constant quality = 23.00"

I use Nero's aac encoder to encode audio at ABR 80kbit (LC) , using the xvid AVI as the source.

I tell it to auto encode and everything seems fine except that after muxing I get a windows box pop up,

"MP4Box.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

The strangest part is thou, the file has been created fine. It plays on my iPod fine, i don't have any issues seeking or anything. If not for this error message I would say that everything was working perfectly.

I get his message on both in Intel quad core machine running XP x64 and my AMD athlon machine running windows XP x86.

Any ideas ?
Thanking you in advance.

Ok, so I have looked around on the forum and found something suggesting that the issue was caused by long file names, so after significantly shortening the file name and using the exact same encoding process I no longer have this problem.
