Hi everyone ! :)

I've encoded a DVD with DVD Rebuilder and demuxed it with PgcEdit. But when I try to remux it with Ifoedit I've the too many frame drops error. Same thing with Muxman and Rejig.

I only have one audio track and one subpicture.

I know it's because the bitrate is to high.

Is it possible to reduce de video bitrate without reencode it again ?

Thanks in advance for you help.

According to the documentation for "ReStream", it can be used to:- change the nominal bitrate (needed for some authoring-programs)

There must be something else wrong. That bitrate is not too high, plus DVD-RB sets a bitrate max to avoid problems.

What encoder did you use? Try HC?

PgcEdit does not demux, do you mean PgcDemux?

Fixed.

That high bitrate was a ripping problem coming from DVDfab Platinum. I've done a new one and encoded it. Everything works fine now.

Thanks for your help guys. :thanks:

That high bitrate was a ripping problem coming from DVDfab Platinum. If you're certain that DVDFab Platinum is at fault, you should email a description of the problem it caused to the publisher, "Fengtao" at DVDIdle.com ...
