Hi, is there somewhere I can download the source code for StaxRip version 1.0.0.1? Or perhaps someone who has it could send it to me? The reason I'm after this version is that it's the last one to use .NET 2.0. Thanks

Any reason for sticking with .Net 2? There will be more and more programmes that require 3.5, its not really as bad as people make it out to be (its not bad at all in fact!). In a couple of years you will have to use it once .NET 4 comes out! In addition to that, I think stax would prefer the use of the later versions!

The old sources are still on the server but in a old directory as I made changes to the site, you can download it here (http://planetdvb.net/non_drupal/filebrowser/staxrip/download/source_code/StaxRip_1.0.0.1_src.zip) but really, .NET 3.5 is a major improvement over .NET 2.0 and StaxRip beta is a major improvement over 1.0.0.1.

Thanks, stax.
Although I am still using 1.0.0.1 for my encoding, I do plan to upgrade to 1.1 in the near future. However the reason I needed this source is that I'm doing a bit of development work and prefer using .NET 2.0.. Just playing around with a few ideas I have, nothing serious at this stage.

Doesn't Net 3.5 have net 2 in it anyway, just the updated SP1 version? so you can still develop .Net 2 apps...

??? No as far as I knew you require .net 3.5 for apps programed in net 3.5 you require 3.0 for the same 2.0 for the same and 1.1 for the same... You can use the 3.5 SDK to CMD line Compile it...
2.0 isn't as powerful as 3.5 cause 3.5 is OSS you can reconstruct the native code and assemblies add your own and keep going... Great flexibility... Of course this is only my opinion...
