Complicated IVTC

Hi to all!
I have a complicated IVTC that I'm trying to do. The clip is mainly telecined with regular 3:2 pulldown but there are some zones where different scenes are "crossfading" each other (scene 2 fade on scene 1 etc.). The problem is that scene 1 and scene 2 are both telecined but with shifted 3:2 pattern so (for example) TFM can't do a proper ivtc on both scenes.
In particular this is an example of the problem:

With scene1 starting (in fields TOP/bottom):

Is there a way to correctly IVTC this clip avoiding deinterlacing or preserving the full clip quality?
I have thought to use DoubleWeave+SelectEvery to mix and select only the corrected fields but without success :(

Not really, since mixing two telecine patterns like that means all fields are different, so there's no duplicates to drop.

Your best bet is probably to just blend the transition down to 23.976 since it's fading anyway, so any ghosting this causes will be drowned out by the fade - well, depending on the length/quickness of the fade, actually.

Little guess since I don't have a sample to run some tests:
animeivtc(mode=2) might do the job, because its purpose is to ivtc a clip where different parts of the image have a different telecining pattern. (different = it was applied separately so you have more interlaced frames than you should have)
