hey now ! i converted HD movies into .mkv recently, and i play them on WMP. but i alway have CoreAVC as a codec, but i have CyberLink H.264/AVC Decoder as the codec instead of coreavc, how do i disable it ? i didnt install "CyberLink H.264/AVC Decoder" by itself, i got it with the cyberlink player which i play for direct use of HD DVD and Blu-ray, how do i disable it so i can use coreAVC as my default codec?
:thanks:

Don't use the crappy WMP but MPC. In MPC you can set your preferred filters.
If you don't want to do that, you can download DirectShow Filter Manager and change the priorities of the two filters ->
Cyberlink = Low
FFDShow = Low
CoreAVC = High
