K, I never done this b4 so I need some help. Say I have 2 files Audio and video from different source. But essentially is the same thing. I have a video file 20:09.261, and audio file 20:08.554. Im using Avi-Mux to join the files. I was wondering if I just add a delay of the audio to .707ms? I just thought it would be as simple as the difference between the two? And if not could someone give me some advice.

Hi!
First mux the two files, so you can determine whether it's:
1) A constant delay that starts immediately
2) A constant delay that starts at other than the very beginning of the video
3) A progressive delay that grows throughout the playback

In my experience, it is rarely simply that.
VirutalDubMod has a great feature of being able to encode small portions of the video. I personally just learned to make a batch of the same segment of video for 4 or 5 (or as many as you need) differnet delays and then selecting the one that best fits before making the video.
