"Loading external filters failed"

What is this message mean and how do I get rid of it?

It says that Avidemux faild to load external filters. As long as you don't want to use any external filters, there is no reason to worry.

Goto "Preferences > External Filters" and select the folder where the Filter DLL's are located. Usually "C:\Program Files\Avidemux 2.4\Plugin"
Or simply uncheck "Load external filters" if you don't need any external filters...

Which program are you running - VirtualDub, VirtulaDUb MOD, or AVIDemux?

I'm pretty sure he was referring to Avidemux ;)
