How to take screenshot from a Blu-ray Disc?

Not sure if this is the right section to ask. I have an LG Blu-ray/HD-DVD combo drive in my PC. I can play blu-ray discs smoothly using PowerDVD 8. But when I checked for the option to take a couple of screenshots, here is what Cyberlink says

Blu-ray Disc and HD DVD prohibit the user from taking a snapshot of the movie content.

Is there any software that can take a snapshot from blu-ray discs? I particularly want to take snapshots of the menu.

All of the screen capture apps I've tried will not let you capture through the player's window. We ended up running composite outputs into FCP.

Is there any software that can take a snapshot from blu-ray discs? I particularly want to take snapshots of the menu.
You can use AVISYNTH to make capturable clip from movie, but from the menu... well, you can also try.

Hotinfo, I tried that software (that specific version itself) but here also the capture button is disabled when playing blu-ray disc. Are you sure it is working for you?

Play the movie m2ts in MPC or any directshow player (if you have the needed codecs) and take screens from there. Or use AviSynth as somebody already suggested.

Pls use software "ArcSoft TotalMedia Theatre", it can play BDMV directory like PowerDVD,and can capture the screenshop easily.
