Video file comming out different with differente size

Hello.. im having some problems with Megui.. when encoding a video.. for example .. i re encoded a h264.mkv to h264.mp4 and in the bitrate calculator i did set a size 80mb, for example and when it finished encoding the video file came out with 70mb.. and not with the size i did set on bitrate calculator.. so what could it be? :thanks:

Why reencode to mp4? Just demux and remux. Or are you shooting for a specific level of compression, meaning are you trying to put this file onto a device other than a PC?

And the fact is that the bitrate calculator is mostly there for a general idea of the desired file size. It could be that your source just compresses really well. I myself have had this issues with really dark movies such as Underworld. Unfortunately, we need more information in order to help you. For one, what is your source?
