Full or Fast?

What is the advantage of GKnot using Fast recompress instead of full processing mode?. I have tryed it, but never concentrated on if there is a speed improvement!!!. Is there a speed improvement?
Exept from the speed what are the pros and cons of these two methods?
I mean... hey: The WEF!! why dont you create an option and give us the ability to chose? (I like it when it says 24bit color!!!- i hate HEX editors)
