View Full Version : Audio delay of joint audio files

When demuxing a number of added vobs (File List) with different audio delays, the resulting joint audio file gets the DELAY of the first (?) vob. This can cause audio desync issues when re-muxing. Is there an easy workaround for this?

Hi!

Are all of the .VOBs from the same DVD title or are they unrelated to each other?

Hi!
All vobs are from the same DVD / same movie.

All vobs are from the same DVD / same movie.Then just re-rip the DVD AS ONE VOB with DVD Decrypter, DVD Shrink, SmartRipper, or similar. You'll then have only one delay to deal with ;>}

Merging the individual vobs using VobMerge http://www.evilmaster.net/index.php?page=tools
solved or at least mitigated the problem. I would still have to explore a little more with other problematic cases though.

(As I still need the original file structure e.g. for subtitles, I didn't try to directly rip the vobs as one big vob only.)
