Vista Media Center & VC1

When I try to open a VC-1 encoded blu ray file (I am legend) on my Windows Media Center I get an error stating "cannont play file", need codec or something similar.

Any ideas on what I can do to fix this?

Is there a codec package I need to download?

I have FFDshow and CCCP codec packs on my Vista 32 and VC-1 1920x1080p plays fine. Try those.

I'm not sure what's included in WMC by default, but you may need to install the UDF 1.25 driver...
